Hi friends!! Thank you so much for coming back to check out another week of favorites. This week there are a few non makeup related skin items, some skin and body care and let me tell you, these products have been getting some love. Please keep in mind, as far as skin is concerned I am not an esthetician or dermatologist, so products that I may be loving and that work for me may not necessarily work for everyone. I am not qualified to make recommendations to individual people, but I do want to share with you what I have been loving, this way you can make the decision if some of these products are best for you or not. Enough rambling, let's get to the fun stuff!
I have to confess, this night cream has been a favorite for a good while now. The Olay Regenerist Retinol 24 Night Cream is a staple in my night time skin care routine. It is smooth, hydrating and all around the perfect night cream. While I have a more normal to oily skin type I love to be sure my skin is nice and hydrated, especially at night. This night cream makes my skin so soft and hydrated while not being too heavy. It has no fragrance, so for those that prefer that will enjoy. Bottom line, if you're looking for a new night cream, give this one a go.
First of all, anything with a cherry almond scent, I will run to the store for, the Jergens Original Scent Cherry Almond lotion has been pretty much all that I use lately. I had been stuck in a rut with my lotions, never feeling like anything quite gave me the hydration and softness that actually lasted on my skin. When deciding to try this out again I quickly remembered why Jergens is such a trusted brand in lotion. I even have went out at bought a couple more of their lotions to try out, #1 Because I am a product junkie and #2 After remembering how great this is I had to grab some others. If you are like me and haven't found a lotion that seemed to do the trick, this lotion might be the one.
Okay, another lotion, but just hear me out on this one. I have been using this after sun lotion for years! It has been the only one I use for after sun care in quite some time. Sun Bum Cool Down After Sun Lotion is quite honestly in my opinion, the best after sun lotion on the market. I started purchasing this on our family vacations in some little beach store and never turned back. The smell is incredible, it takes me back to all my beach vacations all over again. It is incredibly healing on those bad sunburns and helps them turn into a tan even quicker. I personally have had to lather this on every single night this week due to an intense burn on my back. Even if you're not burned, just putting this on after a long day in the sun will give your skin a beachy refresh. It also helps with keeping your skin hydrated to help prolong your tan. This lotion is a summer staple for me every year.
Recently I cannot put the Tarte Hydrocealer down! This concealer is lightweight and has light to medium coverage. I personally prefer a more medium coverage concealer under the eyes as I feel it looks more natural. I'm constantly in search of the perfect concealer and to be honest, I'll probably always be on the hunt for it. However, this one is pretty close, it's hydrating but not dewy, so it doesn't move around. It's more of a natural finish and it has very little to no creasing. I find that a little amount of this is actually perfect under the eyes. It keeps your under eye area fresh and natural so that it doesn't have that horrendous cakey under eye. I'm super picky about concealers, so for me this one is definitely a winner.
I hope this product never goes off the market, ever. The Maybelline Brow Fast Sculpt, well, it sculpts the brows and what a great job it does. It's hard to explain just quite how good it is, I apply this brow mascara after filling in my brows with a micro pencil, it gives the most natural, sculpted brows. It defines each brow hair and holds them in place. I love that it is tinted as to match your brow color, I feel this helps the product look more natural. It reminds me of an old brow mascara Maybelline used to make that I absolutely in love with. It was discontinued, however the Brow Fast Sculpt makes up for it! You can use this brow mascara either alone or layered over a powder, pomade or pencil, whichever you prefer. Whichever method you choose, it will help give your brows the defined, full look we all love.
Hey! Thanks for hanging out and reading about my favorite products! I hope you found something new that you might want to try, if you do I would love to hear about what products you tried and loved! See you next week!
